• What's Coming Up:
- August 16-September 19 - The Papagayo Restaurant is closed for annual maintenance and upgrades, but the Perch will be open for dinner. --The Papagayo closure has been extended. It will open for dinner on Sunday, September 19.
- September 19 - October 16 - The Perch takes its turn being closed for maintenance and repairs. The Perch will open as usual for lunch & dinner until September 18 instead of the original September 13.
- October 31 – Halloween - Need we say more about the best party of the year?
- November – Thanksgiving special dinner.
- December – Christmas followed by a real New Year's Eve Blowout! If you were here last year you know about the Dancing Girls, Fire Dancer and three different entertainers bringing in the New Year. We plan to top even last year’s sold out event so make sure to book your rooms early.

This is a great page for all of the friends of Club Orient to join to meet other Club Orient friends, keep up to date on what’s happening at Club Orient and on Saint-Martin, join in discussions with other naturists, as well as check on everything from the entertainment in the Papagayo to the nightly specials. • Euro Versus US$
For those of you who are not from EU countries, the Euro has recently fallen to dramatic lows against other currencies. As of May 9th, the exchange rate has been averaging about €1.00 to US$1.28. Will it continue to fall or go back up? No one really knows for sure. Read more.
• Why Not Try the Villa?
We have so many friends who vacation together and ask for adjoining studios or to be in the same area, we thought we should mention the beautiful Villa with all of the amenities from television to a beautiful dining room and large back garden is actually less expensive for three couples than three studios! So this year when you start making your plans think about spending your holiday in our most luxurious chalet with 1500 square feet to enjoy. Check out the villa.
• This Summer
Just a reminder, our temperatures in St. Martin vary only slightly between winter and summer. We are pretty much 87 degrees year round. Many guests prefer the island and the resort when it is less crowded and everything moves at a slower pace. If you really need to de-stress and relax, the summer is maybe the best time to visit us. • Let’s Get Fit!
Our new fitness equipment has arrived! We have a brand new elliptical machine complete with a video screen to handle your iPod or even a computer with a usb cable. We’ve also added a new treadmill, a four-station gym and a new weight bench! Now you can relax and keep up with your fitness routine
• La Boutique Goes Online --Soon!
An advance notice for our e-newsletter subscribers: We are in the process of setting up a La Boutique Online Store so you can buy all the great Club Orient gear from home. We’re talking with some really fun companies about new products and apparel. As soon as the store is up and running, we’ll send you an online discount coupon to thank you for being part of the family.
