About Massage
Massage is considered to be one of the oldest of all treatments of the human body. Old Chinese records dating back as far as three milleniums document its use. The ancient Hindus, Persians, and Egyptians used forms of massage for many ailments. Hippocrates wrote articles recommending the use of massage for joint and circulatory problems. The Greeks and Romans perfected the art of spa treatments throughout history...
Today massage therapy is an important part of physical rehabilitation beneficial for treatment of many chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, back pain, arthritis, whiplash, bursitis, etc. It is proven to reduce tension, improve circulation, eliminate soreness and provide an overall feeling of wellbeing and relaxation. Contributions of massage therapy to preventive health care are indisputable. At Club Orient we practice a relaxing combination of Swedish and Shiatsu massage.

Swedish Massage
Collection of techniques designed to relax muscles by rubbing and applying pressure against deeper muscles and bones. It can increase circulation without increasing heart load, speed venous return from extremities, stimulate the skin and nervous system, and reduce emotional and physical stress. It is recommended for its therapeutical and stress management benefits.

Massage with Vichy Shower
A Swedish massage with light oil followed by a warm shower while laying passive on the wet table.
Body Scrub
Natural cleansing and exfoliation contribute to healthier looking skin. A body scrub refreshes and smoothes the skin’s surface while preserving its natural protective acids. Our scrub gently cleanses pores and massages away dead skin cells. The Body Scrub is ideally followed by the Seaweed Pack to nourish the skin.

Seaweed Pack
Removes impurities and replaces nutrients lost to sun, perspiration, stress and chemicals. It also contains natural medicinal properties that benefit the muscles and joints. It is followed by a Vichy Shower.
Vichy Shower
While you lay passively on a special "wet table", you are rinsed with warm water by a system of showerheads specifically designed for the purpose.

Facial Mask
Various cosmetic materials are utilized to remineralize and rejuvenate your skin to offset facial skin damage from climate environment and aging process.
Manicure
Your fingernails are treated to cosmetic methods of cleaning, trimming, polish, and hand massage.
Pedicure
Your feet are treated to extensive care involving massage, warm mineral foot bath, dead skin removal, and toe nail treatment.

Complete Facial Treatment
This luxurious treatment, in addition to the above procedures, utilizes vapor therapy for deep skin cleansing as well as particular facial massage directed to facial skin revitalization and wrinkle reduction. Herbal, seaweed or cream facial mask is applied according to your skin characteristics.
