We are now part of the Facebook Community! This is a great page for all of the friends of Club Orient to join to meet other Club Orient friends, keep up to date on what’s happening at Club Orient and on Saint-Martin, join in discussions with other naturists, as well as check on everything from the entertainment in the Papagayo to the nightly specials.
For those of you not familiar with Facebook you’ll find it is a great resource for staying in touch and being able to get immediate information that you won’t necessarily find on our website. You’ll also find links to other Saint-Martin businesses, as well as many of the staff of Club Orient also have their own personal Facebook links on the site as well.
When you go onto Facebook simply search for Club Orient Official Page and look at what we’ve started and become a fan by joining the Club Orient Official Page family.
Euro Versus US$
For those of you who are not from EU countries, the Euro has recently fallen to dramatic lows against other currencies. As of May 9th, the exchange rate has been averaging about €1.00 to US$1.28. Will it continue to fall or go back up? No one really knows for sure.
If you can pre-pay your next visit to Club Orient this might be a good time to consider it. At the very least, you should make your reservation and pay the deposit. With next year’s high season rates being kept at the lower rate we offered this year, plus the 10% nudist association discount, you can hardly afford not to come.
Make it a Family Affair
Normally we’d be reminding every one of the big 4th of July party at Club Orient, but we’re just about sold out, so instead we’re talking about our second annual Family Month. Families are important not only to Club Orient, but also to naturism as a whole. To encourage families with children to visit, we have set aside July 15 through August 15 as Family Month at Club Orient. 
This means that when you bring the kids we will be pleased to upgrade you to a Chalet when you book a studio.
When making your reservation make sure you let us know that you’re bringing the kids and we’ll do an immediate upgrade. This is limited to space available so the sooner you book, the better your chances of securing one of our chalets.
Why Not Try the Villa?
We have so many friends who vacation together and ask for adjoining studios or to be in the same area, we thought we should mention the beautiful Villa with all of the amenities from television to a beautiful dining room and large back garden is actually less expensive for three couples than three studios! So this year when you start making your plans think about spending your holiday in our most luxurious chalet with 1500 square feet to enjoy. Check out the villa.
This Summer
Just a reminder, our temperatures in St. Martin vary only slightly between winter and summer. We are pretty much 87 degrees year round. Many guests prefer the island and the resort when it is less crowded and everything moves at a slower pace. If you really need to de-stress and relax, the summer is maybe the best time to visit us.
Because everything is a little quieter, the summer is when we close down the Papagayo from August 16 to September 12 and the Perch from September 13 until October 16 for maintenance. You’ll still be able to get both lunch and dinner, but we need the time to make all our repairs and changes.

Our new fitness equipment has arrived! We have a brand new elliptical machine complete with a video screen to handle your iPod or even a computer with a usb cable. We’ve also added a new treadmill, a four-station gym and a new weight bench! Now you can relax and keep up with your fitness routine

We’re talking with some really fun companies about new products and apparel. As soon as the store is up and running, we’ll send you an online discount coupon to thank you for being part of the family.
