Important Update - Please Read First
Dear Guests,
Over the last few years we have endeavored to find the best way to accommodate our guests who are used to dealing with their local currencies. Whether it is dollars, pounds or pesos it is a challenge to be able to fairly convert charges to our currency the Euro, especially when guaranteeing a rate 6 months or more in advance.
As an example during the past two years the Euro has ranged from about USD $1.26 up to $1.60. When we guaranteed our rates in a currency other than the Euro our guests could either have paid too much or too little, depending on the fluctuation of their currency versus the Euro.
To rectify this problem we will now be switching to posting all of our charges, accounts and guarantees only in Euros throughout the resort.
As an example a 500 Euro deposit is required to confirm your reservation. If your credit card is normally billed in dollars, your credit card company will automatically make the conversion to dollars and charge you the current exchange rate at the time they receive the charge.
Some of you may wish to, “lock-in” the room rate, because you may feel the current exchange rate is favorable to you. This may be done by pre-paying your entire stay at the time you make your reservation, rather than simply making a deposit.
This will not be a problem and you would then only be charged for your incidental expenses incurred during your stay.
All room charges will be posted and signed for in Euros. If you wish to have your credit card charged in USD or to pay in cash with USD, no problem, but the exchange rate used will be the one published by Club Orient on the day you are settling your account. The Daily Club Orient Rate will be published throughout the resort wherever charges may be incurred.
Once your visit with us has ended and you are settling your invoice we will again be printing all your charges in Euros. You will either want to settle this invoice in Euros or if you choose in USD and receive the rate which is current on that day.
We will be happy to charge your credit card in either Euros or in USD at Club Orient’s published exchange rate.
This rate may not always be the same as the conversion rate on the day the purchase was made originally. But generally the exchange rate varies only slightly over a week or two.
To summarize, we will still accept payment in USD in all areas of the resort. You may pay all charges in USD throughout the resort. The difference is the posting of charges will only be in Euros and if you choose to pay in USD, by cash or by credit card it will be at either the posted Club Orient Daily Rate or at whatever rate your credit card company applies when they receive the charge.
If we have previously guaranteed your rate in other than Euros we will of course honor our guarantee.

Please Note:
- There is a €25 Euro surcharge / discount per person other than double occupancy, except the Villa.
- Children under 12, accompanied by adult family, stay for free.
- All pricing is officially quoted, guaranteed and confirmed in Euros.

Reservation Conditions:
- A €1.50/person/night Government Room Tax is not included and will be added to your final hotel bill.
- Reservations are guaranteed upon receipt of €500 deposit, 50% of total stay for La Villa.
- Specific rooms cannot be guaranteed.
- Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival date will be penalized in the amount of €200, less than 7 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the deposit will be kept.
- Deposits for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival date for La Villa are not refundable.
- All rates and conditions are subject to change.
